The doctors who legally murder thousands of babies each year are calling Paul Hill, the guy who got excuted today for killing an abortion doctor a "dangerous psychopath".

Isn't that ironic?

I don't think Hill's a dangerous psychopath. Well, not anymore thankfully.

By your logic, I "murder" millions of (potential) babies on a daily basis. I have a good time doing it too.

A guy who buys a shotgun for the purpose of committing pre-meditated murder and practices his shooting for weeks for the specific purpose of picking a certain target off is either a hired assasin or a pretty dangerous person you must admit, especially when he says a day before his death that he couldn't live with himself if he didn't commit this murder. What if he had gotten away with it? Would he say the same about the next 10 people he killed? That borders on psychopathic if you ask me, a supposedly religious man who if he really was religious would value life and respect other living beings, not treating them as objects that must be exterminated for him to have a clear conscience.

The man basically spouted the same "I can't wait to get to heaven and receive my prize" line that the 9-11 hijackers used, and you don't think he is a psychopath??

Remember one day it was legal to have slaves in the U.S. Same psychopathic social behaviour here. The only difference here it's legal to kill babies.

You people that call Hill a psycho don't see society in the same boat for having this massacre to continue?

Regardless of your terming a cluster of cells to be a "Baby", yes, he is still a psycho. He could be murdering Slave owners and it would still be psychotic.

Why? Because we have a system of laws and justice in this coutnry, and you don't start shooting just because you disagree. I have no problem with him believing what he believes, but his actions have shown him to be psychotic.

Not at all. Slavery created a second class citizenry and dehumanized actual humans.

Not only am I pro-choice, to be quite honest I'm pro-abortion. To the extent abortions can ensure that we have fewer UNWANTED babies brought into the world I'm all for it. Sure it'd be better for all if the person had been more responsible to not get pregnant in the first place, but shit happens.

Hey TT, is it also murder for me to intentionally let my viable sperm die?

agree D2bets but i would even extend the pro abortion stance to some WANTED babies. ( specifically where abject poverty is the most likely outcome ).

note china enforces a one child policy through enforced abortion.

truthteller you are anything but --- more like an uneducated cretin.

An adequate education should leave you on perpetual alert, accustomed to raising the possibility, like a flare at a disaster site, that what you are being told is nonsense, even though it's hardbound and best-selling, and what you are being sold is junk, no matter its label's cachet. Thus guarded and prepared, you will move through the society with a reserve that, at the least, intends no offense.

The Wilson Quarterly is a fantastic publication. Read one copy and you'll know what I'm talking about. It's not dedicated to serving one ideological orientation either.

D2,
You're science needs some work.
Half-zygotes don't grow as life, so let's chuck that fallicious argument right out the window.

The only difference between what the guy that killed the doctor did and what the doctor does is law & acceptance. It was once believe that witch hunting was ok, slavery was ok ...

you try to justify it because you want it, NOT because there is any justification.

Say what you will - but there is NO comparision between life and "potential life". NONE.

I'm disappointed lander. I'd have expected more from a generally fair-minded person. Cold-blooded murder can never be compared in any fashion to a doctor performing a medical procedure according to medical standards.

A guy that commited pre-meditated murder vs. doctors that perform a medical procedure they don't consider to be murder. Sounds like apples and oranges to me, doesn't really compare.

A medical procedure?

So, if a Doctor were to say - take your organs against your will & leave you to die ... then that would not be murder because it is a medical procedure?

Right. Way to twist legal terms into morality

Wow..What's is this world coming to? Lander and I actually agree.

First of all, entropy you have no soul so you
don't have to worry about losing it.

D2bets, I wouldn't even answer you since your answer is so idiotic.

Funk, is it's only a cluster of cells, why in California they are charging the Peterson guy with double murder for the death of his pregnant wife?

Wil,
Yes and No. (in that order).

Two wrongs certainly do NOT make a right.

I see. I am strongly against the death penalty. As far a abortion goes, I am pro-choice but the issue is way down my list of things to worry about today. What I see as much more dangerous in this thread, are religious zealots like Truthteller, running around telling people they will burn in some kind of imaginary hell. Thanks for the response.

WildBill,

So the doctors who kill millions of innocent lives every day in the name of the law are not psychopathic too?

You have to have zero concience if you can do that and live with yourself.
